with only 1cm length in it, I'd go for the XS for increased standover and seatpost length tbh

Both dtm
-
• #10179
yeah but also ladeez are usually shorter of torso so extra reach is not necessarily a good thing here

Can we mention chuckability now?
-
• #10181
Hence my suggestion of measuring things, rather than making generalisations based on gender :p

Why I oughta....

• #10183
What do I look like, a bike-fitter?
-
• #10185
well the S is about half the price of a XS. Otherwise, I'd just do XS to be safe!
I'll go measure up my road bike right now....
-
• #10186
here are the measurez (keep in mind its a road bike)
seat tube is 48cm
edit: now that I think about the math that green measurement doesn't seem right, must have misremembered on the walk from shed back to house or measured incorrectly in the dark...

70cm does seem quite tall. Not outside the realm of possibilities if you have long legs, but still
-
• #10188
I'm sure about the 68cm measurement as I did that one twice.
And I just checked a bike fit drawing done for my CX bike a few years ago....and the seat tube all the way to the top of the saddle line was 696mm. So maybe it's close. Maybe my legs are stretchy...

In that case, even being conservative (you may want to drop the saddle a cm or two compared to the road bike) you'd still likely have room for a 150mm dropper even on the Small size, if I'm not screwing up the calculations

my problem with bikes is usually the ladeeee reach.

What does this mean????
-
• #10193
XS and S with some relevant measurements. Pick which one you like the look of best
-
• #10195
I wouldn't worry too much about the reach. 411mm is still fairly conservative and considering a 50-60mm stem is standard you should still have room to adjust there. And Souls are nice.
Edit: definitely worth trying something out at an Evans or something with similar measurements if you can't find a demo Soul

maybe i should say fuck it and just get this
-
• #10197
Did lol at 69 deg head angle tho
-
• #10198
I'm not qualified enough to know why I should lol too...

Going to be listing this shortly. Any interest here?
Will come with a different seatpost And an extra set of tires as well as some tubes.
Sorry for the shitty pic. Will get some better ones when I list it.

im half kidding - there's some wildly slack designs out there making 69deg look pretty conservative. It isn't really tho
Opposite. Small bikes are more fun :p
If I was thinking of all day epic rides I'd go longer though.
