Put my Pomp into bruiser mode the other day.
-
• #6653
That's good! Tyre size?
-
• #6654
32 maybe up front, 28 in the rear. Could definitely go bigger in the rear but this was just what I had around.
Infact, I have a pair of 35c Michelin World Tour but I expect I'd skid though them in a ride.

I once read that slanting TT should = str8 forks. Horizontal TT = curved.
Wise words. Most of bieks violate that principle.

How much were them?
-

• #6668
Wow! I'm gonna text him 'cause my alman fork was destroyed by a dickhead...
-
• #6669
Was that price for a painted fork or simply the fork? If painted is the paint better than that on the Pompino frames which seems to come off if you show the bike another bit of metal.

Ex-lfgss'er @CasaSteve is the seller.

The price includes painting, but i've asked these forks with lacquer only so it matches the raw finish of pompino. So can't comment on the paint quality, but the lacquer seems to be holding up well so far, no rust as of yet :D

Sorry to go back a few pages but does your Pomp barspin with the Kineses fork?
-
• #6673
NP ;)
Yes, it barspin. There's a pic on Pedalroom, you'll see all the space you have with a 37mm tyre -

I rode it on a small.
The previous owner is much taller than me.
What size bike are you riding?
