Forum approved chain for a Shimano 11 speed drivetrain? Ultegra, 105 or something KMC/Wipperman flavour?
-
• #5754
Whichever cheaper TBH, as they need replacing sooner than later.
-
• #5755
Kmc x11el are nice and not too pricey.
-
• #5756
I like the fact Wipperman come with the reusable link.
-
• #5757
Always used KMC because they were cheaper, but splurged the extra fiver on a DA one last time. It's run smoother and quieter for a fair bit longer than the KMC

Is there a way to use my 10sp bar end shifter as a downtube shifter?

No nails

5-bolt 110bcd Compact chainrings for Di2:
Older Shimano 6600 (not designed for Di2)?
SRAM X GlideR rings?
Praxis rings? -
• #5762
Praxis
-
• #5763
Really? Thought they were being slated for wearing out fast which was why I was looking at the Shimano (also in the hope the shifting was better).
-
• #5764
Not aware of rapid wear
-
• #5765
Hmm. Maybe I should sort my RD out before fucking around with rings.
I have them now and they don't look that bad to me. I was just going to replace the whole lot at once though because I'm an idiot like that. -
• #5766
Just because I don't know about it doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
-
• #5767
I know but I poked the RD tonight too and it wasn't the springiest it could've been. Perhaps its slackness is what's contributing to slow changes rather than any chainring wear.
-
• #5768
You can program di2 to shift faster
-
• #5769
Rotor NoQs are what I'd recommend. I've had issues with Di2 and Praxis rings.
-
• #5770
It's not a Di2 specific issue. It's physical chain movement because something is worn.

Press the button harder.

I punch all my gear changes.

Silver, 5 arm, 40t, narrow wide chainring, reasonably priced. Does such a thing exist? I have googled. Is oven-cleaner my only option?
-
• #5774
What's reasonably priced to you? 104 bcd?
Superstar do Silver, might need to hunt around for 40T, looks like 38T is their max unless you're after a 110bcd version. Oh wait, 5-bolt? Err..

I knew I'd miss something from the list - 110bcd is what I'm after yes!
Need some new gear cables for my Campag equipped bike - is this £3 set from Wiggle's 'Lifeline essential' range going to be rubbish?
