The more recent incarnation of Jessops have been pretty shoddy in my experience, but that's mostly on new gear. I've bought a fair few stuff from LCE and they've always been great. I see they have the 23mm f1.4 for £599 at the Derby store. There delivery is pretty reasonable and the last lens I bought I think from the Bristol store arrived the next day despite the late purchase.

Looking to buy the Fuji 23mm f2 WR as I really miss shooting with the 35mm equivalent. I have the Fuji 18mm f2 and 35mm f2 WR and both I find either too wide or too long for what I like. So, wanted to see if any forum members had the 23mm f2 they're looking to sell, or if anyone is interested in buying the 18mm and 35mm. Both are in very good condition, bought from new and includes all end caps and boxes. Looking to sell for £225 (18mm) and £260.

Anyone after a primitive ball head? Kennett Engineering, the inventors of the "bent bolt" tripod design that became BenBo and was then taken up by Uniloc. They also made this heavy ball head. It has seen better days and is not as smooth as it may once have been, but I have stripped out the ancient seized up grease and cleaned it a bit, and it works fine. No idea what sort of load it will take, but it will be quite a lot.

For reasons I have not yet discovered, it has a female thread on top, so I bought a male-to-male adapter.
£0 collected from SE23 or plus reasonable postage.

slim chance but i'm after an olympus mju ii if anyone has one going, missed 2 on ebay and i'm getting frustrated.

Even slimmer chance, I'm on the lookout for cheap Sony E lens (16mm or 20mm pancake mainly, 55-200mm zoom possibly if it comes up at a sub £100 price). The ebay alert I've had for the past year or so isn't finding me anything, any other suggestions?

Another ball head for free. Sitting in SE23 for anyone who would like it. It was a Jessops own brand one. QR plate and spirit level. 3/8" thread in base, adjustable tension.

I bought the Fuji 23mm F2, enjoying it so far. Couldn't justify the 1.4, $500 for 0.6 of an F stop was beyond my ability to rationalise.
