Not this week either I'm afraid

I'm currently waiting for the probable owner of a cat that turned up in our garden last Thursday, to come & reclaim it. Apparently it went missing 1 1/2 years ago. Cue 'Are you being served'-style jokes about being the 1st person to see this pussy in 18 months.

Woman finally showed up.
Claimed the 'cat-in-garden' was not hers.
But, as a member of local CatRescue club(?), took it away for chip checking by a vet.
Bit late, and damp, to set off now.

Not going to make it now either. Sorry.

Well at least no-one made a wasted journey.
Next week?
