Turtle "Hill slayer" recall, allegedly.

Is there an app/online tool to 'snap' iffy gpx tracks back to the roads where they should have recorded, but didn't? There used to be Race Shape but it seems that's been out of action for some time.

Do you have a copy of the gpx track somewhere , it is possible to do this in a bit of a convoluted way using garmins basecamp. Import the track, convert that track to a route which depending on the routing profile chosen will bring it onto the roads and that route can be converted back to a track.
Depends why you want to do this on whether it will give you the end result you need, most likely the data timestamps will be removed during this process, so the file will be invalid for strava use etc. -

Thanks. As you may have guessed, it's mostly for the stravas, so probably not worth the effort.

Anyone noticed an average speed anomaly if stopping a ride and starting again later (e.g. Recording commute in and out of work as one ride)? My average speeds have doubled and I can assure you that ain't possible!

Yay, first KOM! Pretty obscure, with 550 "attempts", not to mention three junctions including a roundabout crossing the A21, and I was lucky with a green temporary traffic light, but I'll take that. :)

For years I have been strava stalked by a Michael Bailey, receiving kudos for nearly any activity, including those start and stop the Garmin 3ft efforts. I sort of assumed this was just a bot giving me the rep.
Moving to near Gloucester and I noticed he was on the same segments as me, and I have now joined the same club. Last night I met him for the first time. All rather strange, especially as he has no idea why he follows me. Though he does follow thousands of people.
