@Stonehedge Either of those Seiko's still available?
-
• #22104
Yep, could you update with what you have left available @Stonehedge . Some beauties there (like everyone else I love the Lucerne) and with prices like that I may take a punt on something at the cheaper end of the spectrum (basically all except the Omega) if you'd consider postage to Canada.

:) i wish.. most people choose the white. i like it too but i'm leaning towards the blue because
i think it looks a bit classier, from a couple of meters away the white will look like some daniel wellington or the likes.
on the other hand i like the idea of the white with black or dark brown perforated leather. -

don't worry - you're never gonna be a couple of meters away from your wrist

White because it looks like it was supposed to be made that way.
The blue looks like they had a white watch, wanted to offer an alternative, but were too cheap to produce matching day/date wheels so just kept the white ones. Yeah, virtually everyone does it at every level of the game, but the only time it doesn't lessen the watch is if the white date visually balances a big white 9 o' clock baton marker.

@Sanddancer Strongly agree. There is a place for contrast date wheels but only in the right context.

Opinions on the stowa antea ks 41?

ongoing Timex issues - not really their fault.
i managed to lose the winder and stem out of my timex. they replaced with a new one for £18.
i immediately lost those and they replaced again for free
this time ive just lost the winder, but the stem might be stuck/out of position.
timex would maybe replace another time, but is there a London place who might just fit a new winder? it wouldnt necessarily have to be identical to the lost one. -

No ;-)

This is exactly why I gave up on timex
Can't help much, but my guess woud be a 70's Valjoux 7734 or similar. Many watches made like this at the time.
