and that pepsi ad is massively problematic. diminishing a movement that exists because police are seemingly deliberately targeting and killing young black men to sell fizzy pop is astoundingly tone deaf and it needs to fuck off, which it has.

Yeah it's a heavy-handed reference designed to court controversy.

To be fair I laughed when I imagined the short-haired police officer whacking the Pespi out of her hand and pepper-spraying her in the face, then turning to camera and shouting "Always Coco-Cola!"

I thought it was a wind up when it got to the muslim photographer. I don't know what a Kendall Jenner is.

It's not as offensive as the old Pepsi Max advert where some office workers induce a mental breakdown in their manager so they can drink cola and watch motor racing in the conference room.

@Constable_Savage: Also, the price per lb for the bananas is displayed more prominently than the price per kg, which has been illegal for about ten years. Maybe the relevant authority needs to run a TV campaign so people are aware.
