wow! my pinky here! :)
I prefer the pink one from Hazzles.
Those caad5 had the headtubes very low and I hate spacers :/ I also don't like the slice fork of mine but what can I do? When I built it I had to use what I had.
I love the pink one from Hazzles ;)

Thank you, yours is lovely too! I know what you mean about the Slice fork, I swapped mine for a different one before painting.

Finally got my 93' dale working, shortened the chain, now seems to be staying on the chainring pretty well (1x7) and switched the black flite for an old red one......Might put an old black chainset on next.

So after having my bearings (CAAD 12 BB30a) replaced a few weeks a go as they were shot (prob about 1200km in them) they developed a click once again. In the past I've stripped down, cleaned and re-greased everything and it usually does the trick for a while. This time, whilst extracting the SISL2 drive side crank...it split in half. I did previously have a rattle of something loose in it but this is fucking great.
Before I take the whole frame and every other Cannondale item outside to stamp on before setting on fire does anyone know what the best BB30a adaptor is please and link me to it, I fortunately have SRAM Red cranks to replace my very expensive dead current cranks.

I'll just add, fuck you Cannondale. No other bike I've ever owned has ever given me as much grief and I have lots of races coming up. All I want is a reliable fucking bike you piece of shit BB designing cunts.

Sorry.

My mate (and until a few weeks ago: a non cyclist) is about to ride her tiny Cannondale to Spain. She's leaving at the start of May, from Suffolk via Holland, Belgium and France.
She's going to keep a regular blog type thing here: https://www.instagram.com/adventuresof_anna_/
So far it's mostly just photos from some of our training rides, but I think she's going to try to update it daily on the trip.

You can try and warrant it but given that you fit the bottom bracket yourself, the likelihood of a positive outcome is slim.

Excellent rant, would read again.
Maybe it was all those wattz you were putting down riding up the gutter on the taaienberg?

Riddle me this, Internet bike nerdZ:
Rotor BSA 30mm axle BB, SiSl 109mm axle, wave washer. By what number of mm (or fraction thereof) would I be out by?

Assuming a 68mm BSA shell

Is this the old 'can i fit SiSL2 cranks to my BSA frame' question? They probably designed it so that you juuuuust can't.

Getting anything warrantied in the UK that isn't a busted Lefty is pretty tricky, non?
Chinese-sourced via eBay 38mm gloss UD on Novatecs. Can't remember which seller; not these guys, but similar.
Pretty good so far (touch wood) - although the alu nipples seem to be more brittle than glass and the spokes went slightly slack after 200 miles or so. Luckily I can fix both those issues myself, but even if I had to pay an LBS to rebuild then with brass nipples, I still think they're good value.
