Yeah fair call, dismissive is fair, and I'm obviously not a fan, but yapping up about RWC19 already just stinks of drumming up a bit of publicity,
Hes already talking up a ENG v AB final, How about we get next years game out of the way first.

He has his methods and I'm enjoying it at the moment. When the bullshit gets too much for Farrell and Jones can't get on top of itoje's penalty count so just slags him off in desperation we see how good they all are.

12 Welshers, Warren - lolwut?
In fairness, very few of them will (or rather, should) get anywhere near the Test team.

Sad for Joe Launchbury and glad Peter O'Mahony got in. Hope he gets to captain the midweek team. Glad JJ is in and Roberts is not (the reverse was being reported).
Not really a whole lot to say tho.

CJ Stander for player of the tour

8 back row players... wtf? But still no room for wee Hamish?
Plus the whole of the only back line not to put four tries on Italy.
This is going to be 2005 all over again. But this time I won't be ferried about in the back of a campervan being very hung over!

...is how I imagine him feeling right now. Sad for the lad.
-
• #2634
Yeah, Kruis, Itoje or Lawes over Launchbury is ridiculous.
Itoje is on a huge upward trajectory but he is definitely more of an aspiring back rower. Lawes puts in the odd big hit but cannot put in the same consistent work rate.

Agreed and it's not like he (or Henderson) are being asked to cover back row!

I disagreed with the back row/second row title for both Itoje and Henderson, as much as I like both players. For this selection you don't need players to cover multiple positions.
They're both back rowers who can cover second row in my book so should be selected based on their primary position. Would either have been picked as out and out back row? Unlikely.

Really happy for Tag Furlong though

Playing tomorrow, for the first time in three years. Hmmm... not sure how good an idea this was!

• #2639
Yes Exeter! What a finish to a game.

Ahh..... The Lions is like deja-vu all over again. Was there in 2005. Great fun; crap rugby.

• #2641
Never watch super rugby. This crusaders outfit are tip notch.

• #2642
Cor that was some game of Rugby and what a cracking finish!
-
• #2643
Didn't realise that was on - caught the second half. Wow.
-
• #2644

Doddie Weir diagnosed with MND - very sad news. Top, top player and thoroughly nice bloke.
-
• #2646
Super 14 or what ever they call it now is much better than than any champs ive seen here. might be biased being kiwi but the depth in all the teams is amazing.
-
• #2647
Heard the teams outside of NZ are a bit shit. Kinda like the pro 12 here.
-
• #2648
Not all are terrible but the NZ teams seem to be one step ahead but can come down to what happens on the day so you can see some great rugby.
Although a couple provincial teams have won against the Lions it is a bit big headed to think that the lions would have lost them all. Even though they lost to the Auckland Blues the least strongest team in NZ at the moment haha.
-
• #2649
Think they're trimming some of the non-NZ teams from the competition soon.
Lions were ok. Defence looks stronger than attack. But we'll see on Saturday morning (beer for breakfast?)...

The decider tomorrow morning should be a good game!
Just seemed a bit dismissive that's all.
agreed, will be interesting to see if he can do it. He has the most money and the deepest player pool....
