Alienware version, great so far, still on 970GTX, just about run Fallout 4 with its new high res pack.

So, disconnected the Xbone the other night and when reconnected it would not power on. No light on the box, can't even eject what's in there.

We've tried other HDMI cables, plugs, power source seems fine. Box hasn't been dropped or had any impact, no spills, fan area always kept clear. Online has not been helpful in giving clues about what may have happened - anyone encountered anything similar? Had to go the whole Easter weekend without so much as a hand of Gwent...

know anyone with one nearby. might be worth seeing if you can test on their power supply.

High resolution texture pack that weighs in at about 50gig, doesn't really much imo

58 to be precise, for the sake of slightly sharper rust and a bit of wood grain on a fan, it's not useless if your computer can handle it and you have the hdd space but definitely not essential

Wow. Grim dawn is seriously delivering. There are some proper hard ass levels in there. It is rare that I bail out of bonus dungeons in an RPG but there are lots in there that are just too much for my skills. Very impressed. It's what Titan Quest should have been.

Has anyone played Horizon zero dawn?
Thinking about picking it up but I've heard mixed reviews.

Mixed reviews? i thought it pretty much universally reviewed well (it's on my list to get, when i can find it at a bargain price)

Heard people say some of the challenges are a bit off, timed modes when stealth is the intention, etc.
I'm going to pop into Game tomorrow lunch time and see what the price is like.

This may come of surprise to anyone buy myself but Shadow of Mordor is basically the Batman games set in LotR (minus all the cool aerial hijinks).

I warned you. It's fun but shallow. The nemesis thing is cool but not enough to save the rest of the game. It's worth playing for a bit if you get it cheap. I think I prefer it to the Batman games though, I found them shockingly bad compared to the heaps of praise they all got.

I was, but realised I prefer my card games IRL. Hearthstone is great, but I don't miss it.

I popped Dark Souls 3 back in for 'one last go' before trading it in, now i think I'll try and complete NG++

My weapon of choice is the Fume UGS +10 with Carthus Flame pyro buff. (50/40 Str/Dex) one shot most of the simple stuff.

For the unfamiliar, what's Dark Souls exactly? A hacky slashy thing with set design by Sauron? And is quite hard to beat?

It's hard, but not insurmountable.
I found 3 to be the easiest of the trilogy. The earlier ones rewarded death with a diminished health bar, the more you died, the less health you had.

There were lots of rumours of Nintendo discontinuing the NES Classic but I'm surprised it's actually happened.

I sold mine to someone on here for cost price. What a mug. If I'd kept it unopened in the box it'd probably be worth a fortune in a few years!
