  • Also, people starting their own clubs is fine. They want to stay in their comfort zones and should be allowed to. Maybe with positivity, encourangement and experience they'll learn more about participating in organising events and contributing to the community (see: 5th floor, as has been previously mentioned).

    I agree, however I must point to @Fox's statement that is spot on in regards for those who start new club because the old one isn't tickling their spot;

    Frustrated with the traditional club model, we decided to forge our own path.

    Basically means: We went on our local club run and there weren't enough gramming opportunities. Also everyone was wearing mismatched, ill fitting kit - it was an aesthetic horror show! We're freelance graphic designers, we shouldn't have to put up with this!

    i'm not sure it does but this is also fine tbh. The world is all about 'graming and social media now, and there's big bucks to be made if you do it right tbh. If you can't join 'em, try and beat 'em aye
