Very likely yes. Saying that, your opinion on this is very much welcome if you know a better alternative? I'm but a noob at this.

If it were me, as I am a cheapskate I'd try thicker oil. It is a service item, but if you fancy changing the springs and oil then steve advice I'd take as gospel he and his wife raced sv. Get the oil and the springs and the air gap and it is easily done.
