Yeah it was Stevejordan that pulled me towards the linear springs as I was set on Progressive, but apparently, if you're a lighter rider, the bike will bounce all over the place until you're tight into a corner, then everything will stiffen up.
The racetech springs they offer get decent reviews and seem to be made of quality material.
Much obliged. I will take you up on that as long as I hope I'm not imposing. Just gotta collect the rest of the gubbins/parts.
Heavier oil is the plan too. For my weight, a 10w seems recommended, but I do prefer a slightly stiffer ride so might mix and for a 12w, either that or just go for Silkolene 20w.
I'd like to replace the springs as well simply because I've opted for a stiffer shock at the back, and I'd like to balance things out.
