  • I'm just about there, which I find surprising - for context, I'm 6'2" on a 56cm frame.

Not surprising considering a 56cm frame is designed to fit someone a little shorter than you (although can understand why you went for the 56cm, as the 58cm was too high for you).

I'm wondering if others don't make the minimum showing requirement?
It happened, we have done "crash replacement" frames through Cannondale due to customer going above max insertion point.

I think you're reading the opposite of what I'm saying - I acknowledge that I'm on a slightly smaller frame than many would ride, the Cannondale SAVE seatpost minimum refers to seatpost OUT of the frame, i.e. you must have 148mm of (sniggers) shaft showing or the post is "incompatible with your frame".

I have 95cm from pedal axle with crank at max extension to top of saddle, for additional context.

  • 100 cm + 18 cm shaft.. ( not including the head ;) )

6ft 4 on a 58cm. Its apparent my height is in my legs.

You had me worried for a moment, my SAVE came unboxed so had no idea on requirements.

And i've committed what is one of my pet hates. Mixing of imperial and metric.
