  • I literally have no idea what this means.

It means that the regulation is now confirmed by the board to be an anti-Superman measure, so anybody in breach of it must by definition be using a Superman position and can still be sanctioned :)

The 3cm rule is suspended, but in it's place is a ban on Superman which is defined by the board as any position in breach of the 3cm rule.

Regulation 14.d.ii is replaced by Catch 22, and it's the end of the rule of law in time trialling.

  • Thanks, makes sense.

A little late getting to it, having been sending out letters. But better late than never. At least they put put a 'Press Release', would be nice to see them email it, if they can spam me about knight composits, they can email an important press release.
I think it makes sense now. If you think you're taking the piss, you probably are.

If superman is illegal, how about tuck? Is tuck in the regulations? It is, damn.

N.B. The "tuck" position is banned because the Board believes that its widespread use will not be in the interests of the safety of riders and the welfare of the sport.
