They have Maxxis packaging and the compound and tread seemed the same as Refuse but I think they weren't as 'tough'.

Very useful information, thanks ed.
i guess the comfort difference between 24/26 is non existent -

It's more about area of contact, the black runner is the same width, which is sorta cheating when you have tyres like GP4000sii that's not only just wider but the contact point is also wider.
Of course the bigger tyres = more comfortable.

Addition on the G+ data: 25mm, 72kg, run the front at 5.5bar, rear at 6bar, a bit shy of 3k km until first flat. Roads ridden are Flanders canal paths, French cobbles, Swiss and Italian Alps.

You sure the rubber width is the same? The 26 would look a bit funny with less rubber, no?
I think I have both at home. Don't make me get the ruler out.

Anyone removed with some success the reflective strip of Vittoria hypers?
-
• #4489
Yes! Was easy, just picked at it with my fingernail and then peeled slowly. Been meaning to upload a pic. The tyre underneath isn't completely black so doesn't look amazing but better than reflective imo.
I'm Chorlton based if you want to have a look or can commute to central mcr on it one day. -

I'm keeping mine bling.

It's a bit mangled after all the fettling to get them tubeless anyways... I'll give it a go later, looks totally out of place in my SSCX

first I thought GVA was just riding de-branded FMBs for P-R but seems like there are new G+ Corsa Control soon to be released: https://twitter.com/ZyroFisher/status/851428222067777536

Interested in Strada Bianca Pro 36
What's the difference between open tubular and clincher?
-
• #4496
Thanks for that. Going by that chart I wasn't far off. But I found another online which took into account rider and bike total weight, weight ratio (front to rear wheel), and it was way different.

If you're looking for tubeless loveliness, then I can heartily recommend the 28mm IRC Formula Pro X-Guard. They shit all over the Schwalbe Pro Ones I had previously. Grip is better, ride quality is better, and they don't get cut to shit in five minutes flat.
After some positive initial feelings, I had to dump my pair of 28mm Pro Ones as I began to get regular punctures. They rarely if ever sealed with Stan's (they tended to just expel all the sealant over my arse/legs/frame), and adding different sizes of glitter did little/nothing to help. The state of the tread after around a month of commutes and road rides was shocking – big cuts everywhere, and I needed to internally patch each tire several times. They never really felt that grippy to me; nowhere near as confidence inspiring as the IRCs. Also: they suffer from the classic Schwalbe One QC - even with the tires properly seated, both tires seemed unevenly moulded; I thought my wheel was out of true, but it was just a wonky tire. This is something I've seen several times with recent Schwalbe tires (One, Durano Plus, One Evo).
So far:
IRCs - 800km - Zero p-words
Schwalbes - 950km - Around 8-10 p-words, maybe more as I lost count -

Looking at Clement Strada LGG 60tpi in 28mm. Any experience? Anything else I should consider for c£25 a tyre in gumwall 28?

please get your ruler out,
actually i reckon you probably need to invest in a micrometer to make it more official.
The 26mm cotton have the same rubber width as the 24mm cotton, the only difference is more sidewall on the 26mm.
In theory 26mm are more likely to get cut on sidewall.
