It was a compliment. Though the tictac focus loses you a point.

I know :)
That's the first photo of the complete build, straight from the work stand. Already have Speedplays on. -

To be fair it's not all my fault: the free-wheel went, the handlebars were broken in a crash and that saddle is no friend of mine. But damn it was good

I called it 'the bananaman'

This one is mine. A beat-up '98 Lemond Zurich I've had for a few years now, fork is an Easton instead of the old threaded one and groupset is 10sp Campagnolo Veloce.

PM'ed you :)

Yup, a 1" Easton indeed. I just noticed that the picture is actually slightly dated. After a look at my bikefitting chart I installed a longer Deda Newton 26 stem, 26mm Deda 215 Shallow handlebars (just like Lance) and a Thomson seatpost.

Liked how much spacers there is!

Finishing this 1989 Corsa Extra with a Campa 10 speed Veloce (and a Croce d'Aune crankset as I don't have another one at the moment).

Where do I find the 'old groupset on modern frame' thread?
-
• #349
I want to ride them and those old sh** brake levers and stuff isn't really what my body likes most...
Never thought I'd get used to them, but after riding with Campag Nuovo Record brake levers on Cinelli Crits for a while I quite like them.
Still prefer Ergo/STIs though mind

I believe we're softies. My wrists feel crippled after a couple of hours in the old style brake levers.
Can I play?
