I went for the Tektro ones, they have the spring but still rattle a tiny bit.
Electrical tape in the brake cable holster(?) sorted it.

Bought this ratty number off of trunkie a coupla days ago, (sorry I haven't got a full side angle)
Plan is to drop the frame off with winston this weekend to get the dents rolled out / filled, then I'll either keep the rusty look while the weather holds up, or try my hand at rattle-canning it.
Will also be dropping these off with him to replace the super short steerer:
Been meaning to sort the steerer out on them for a while... Hoping to pair them with the frame but it could look shit. will just see how it turns out!
Thinking its more sensible to go threadless, although I'm sure the frame would look better with a quill etc.

Isn't his wanted ad from two years ago? Would consider a trade if something with a long steerer came along...
These might be good for him

They don't, but doubles still work, you can use some of those wire bag tires to secure the second strap

Cheers! It's currently on 52/19 before it was on 42/16 since I was using road chainrings from the parts bin. I quite liked the spinny 42/16 in the city tbh. Your project looks interesting, any plans gor the rattlecan job?

Can't handle anything grindy on a fixed, the constant stopping takes it out of me!
No plans, my main concern is that it doesn't end up looking shite (which it inevitably will as it'll be my first go). A friend of mine has plans to build a booth so hopefully, I will be able to use it.

I've had my orders from Mrs Savage and so I have to stop accumulating projects and have to finish a few off instead. So I need to locate some Marin transfers/stickers for the Palisades and the Mount Vision and some pivot bolts and bushed for the MV too. I think I've got some XT stuff to replace where required and the rear tyre on the Karakoram couldn't withstand 2 bar as I fully expected. Decisions, decisions.

Really nice. Less keen on the blue ano but otherwise great.
Love that stuff
