Looking to stick some road levers on my fixed - front brake only but going to fit both for hand positions. Got my eye on the Cane Creek SCR 5 Brake Levers - are these a good choice? will the left side be all floppy? Thanks

If I remember correctly only the cheaper Sram ones did not have a return spring.

The expensive ones don't have a spring either. Still worth the trouble if you like the hood shape.
