Whats with mix of arabic and roman numerals? Beyond my Steinhart, I'm not sure I "get" German watchmakers.

Except not quite, as the top and bottom are reversed from a conventional California dial on the Nomos.

At first I didn't really like it but it's really grown on me.

Is it me or does the Nomos Anti California version not work as well?

1 and 2 are basically the same. X is obviously 10. But IV and VIII are not so legible imo.

Sorry to hear that Watch Gecko perlon quality was poor, send it back? I've only had natos and a couple of leather ones from them, appreciate the heads up.

The nomos graduate is aimed at students apparently .... 1100 price tag and hand winding.

It looks like a fun watch not sure I could wear.

Looks like a Zenith but the logo text looks way too long.

Quite a few twin register chronographs from that era.

I've seen a couple of Omega military issue watches with California dials, they were fucking beautiful...

Tho' they've probably been refinished dials... They look great on older watches, IMHO...
