    You don't, unless you have some sort of freak frame. 40-43mm works fine on anything between 72° and 75° head angle for 700C road bikes. If your requirements lie outside this, you need to decide first how much trail you want and then calculate the "rake" (fork offset) using trigonometry or one of the available calculating tools, e.g. http://yojimg.net/bike/web_tools/trailcalc.php
