  • Speedplays are brilliant even if you ignore the knee saving float. I've got mine locked down to 0 float. I can adjust exactly the zero angle for the cleat, how much float, where the disengagement point is, they're solid when clipped in, no rocking or shifting and they're by far the easiest pedals to get in once they're broken in. I've spend so long on Keo's and the like having cleats shift around in the pedal or squeaking or never being able to get them in the right position or the bearings dying etc. The only real downside to Speedplays is they're the worst for walking in and I keep managing to lose my Keep on Kovers.

    The aero cleats are worth the premium in this regard alone.

  • i use the aero cleat with my normal pedals, they are way easier to walk in
