  • No need to supp protein unless your bulking?

    'on the go' - flapjack, nakdbars, clif bars, nuts, seeds etc

    for the protein shakes try adding chia seeds or spirulina.

    For recovering, lower inflammation in the body - so lots of antioxidant foods - Fruits, green leaves etc.

  • OK cool. I don't supplement much, just got into the habit of having a whey shake to keep me going during the day but won't miss it. Aldi do a good line in fake nakd bars with added protein. Would recommend.

  • I don't think it's necessary, but if I'm not eating very well I'm convinced it helps if I have a teaspoon of hemp powder mixed with water daily for a while. It could be psychological but sometimes I go through phases of my legs getting tired and I can't decide whether it's lack of sleep or lack of proper nutrition (probably both)
