I'll revise my statement:
I enjoy ups and downs equally.
A slightly more sane answer.

You got it right first time.
How tall are you?

@furious_tiles has kindly included a box (literally a box) of 26" tyres with the parts he sold me. Problem is, I have no idea what each one is for so some advice would be really helpful.
I have:
1x Nobby Nic
3x Fat Albert
2x Table Top
2x Kenda brand - I can't remember the name of the tyre but it's blocky on the edge and low in the middle - a bit more in the middle than the Happy Medium. -

6ft 3. So not abnormally tall, but enough..
Phew, it's not only me that enjoys the achievement of a good technical climb. Anyone can go downhill...... Troll.jpg

Nobby Nics are a decent all-rounder. Fat Albert much the same, but wider.
Dunno about the others.

@NurseHolliday Fat Albert on the front, the fork has more clearance. Nobby Nic on the rear

Also, since I'm going round in circles on Pinkbike, STW, and eBay trying to find brakes, has anyone got any for sale?
I'm not fussy, Deore will do, but anything really.

I'll have some pretty well used deore m-615 front and rear in a couple of weeks time when I upgrade, still work absolutely great.

These are still really good brakes....I've got em on my stache and love the lever feel....better than my SLX, dare I say??
You won't want to flog em now!

That would be great. PMd

I've got a cyclescheme voucher burning a hole in my pocket! I'm upgrading wheels, drive train and brakes to hope.

Very noice!
-
• #9892
I would, but am doing the duty....surely there must be another badgers ride soon?

Looking forward to the Spring ride. -

Anyone know of any long-ish (100km plus) bridleway/offroad/anything that is >80% not-road routes starting from London they might share?
Bored of road cycling, still want the distance, can't really afford trains. -

Sunny out today.
We do it wrong in England. That little hut on the left was shut today but apparently in season it sells beer. It's a good half hour's ride from any roads and about 900m up the side of a mountain.
Shitty hire GT provided lols when the front disc cable stretched halfway down a gravelly 300m descent.
