have not got any insurance unfortunately. citizens advice has said i am entitled to comp to the value of the parts according to the 1987 consumer protection act so i have put that all in an email.
i spoke to cycle-sos and a solicitor gave me a call offering some pretty comprehensive advice re small claims etc so hopefully that will be enough to make them think it is not worth the hassle.
its too much cash for me just to let go tbh, my giro shoes are all fucked up, fizik antares saddle is ripped and a new wheel is pushing 300 even without the other smaller bits
Last friday i posted that my bars snapped and I crashed my bike as a result. have quite a lot of damage to my bike... seat is ripped, lever, grips, shoes and my front wheel is totally pancaked. I have had a reply from the company saying that they will have a look at the bars and see if they are covered under warranty but they will not have anything to do with "incidental damage". has anyone had any experience with something similar?
