Anyone know anything about disc brakes?

dual piston ! apart from that Hope (or anything other than Shimano) is pain to maintain. Pads are just pads.

What difference does dual piston make to maintenance? More places for air to get trapped?

@hippy if you're having reliability issues with Shimano, Hope is not the way to go.

No idea tbh. My old Mono Minis were fine, but I've no experience their later stuff, as I've been using mechanicals for the past 6-7 years.

Not reliability issues, just the same old noises and lever throw stuff I've been whinging about since last year.

Not until someone can tell me why it's wrong. If there's something that's not in the manual that needs to be done to make them better then feel free to post it. It will probably go into Woolseys at some point for some work but I'm not going to make a special trip.

Besides I'm not the only one posting on the 'net about this issue so perhaps the problem isn't the mechanics..?
