It’s the pre ride coffee and post ride beer. It’s the early mornings and sunrises. It’s back streets, back lanes, and back sides. It’s planning Alps trips over pizza and good chat. It’s reminiscing about Alps trips over pizza and great chat. It’s stinging mountain switchbacks and romantic descents on empty roads. It’s sweat and hurt and second winds.
It’s friends for life.
It’s outside and it’s freedom
It's the same copy as everywhere else...
I'd link to the classic Team JVA (Jens Voight Army) Rapha spoof, but it seems to be dead.

Far too mature and not in the spirit of this thread IMO ;)

I appreciate how honest FTR are. "Frustrated with the club model". This means not having to invest in women's cycling, junior cycling, organising wider group rides, engaging with the cycling community, learning from more experienced riders, actually racing, actually learning to race or attempting different cycling disciplines. All these AdultBro Collectives (FTR, EC1, Glorious etc) all are just an excuse to get matching kit, and let's be honest any estateagent 5-side afterworker footy can get matching shirts for christs sake. They're just brosefs with a fuckin website. Hooray.

There are a lot of legitimate issues with "old school"-styled clubs.

I agree! North London Thundercats, 5th Floor and Sunday Eschappee are just three groups who are (to differing extents) showing how different kinds of club organisations can improve upon some of the traditional club structures.
But my time with VCL and experience so far with Brixton CC make these collectives painfully self-absorbed. They seem to think collaborating with a brand is some kind of mountain top of #engagement

What does "No twits" mean? Can you give any examples?
Fuck me, imagine the meeting for Rmnc.cc.
It's gotta be, like, Rapha but less dull, even bigger logos.
I really like Palace.
Yeah me too, that's well cool.
Kaching.
