I thought he was going to win it judging by all his videos that kept appearing on YT's Recommended viewing list.

What are you talking about? There's at least seven road signs on it.

Lots of them have their own media. If you follow the ipwr twitter account they often retweet.
Also, if you click on any rider on the tracker it has a More info or Profile button or something. Click that for bio and links to social media.

Fuck. I met him before TCR. He's in the same club as Wilko/Jilko.
-
• #182
Jilco isnt in our club she has gone to chester but yes he has joined port sunlight wheelers and rode out to knutsford with us last week.
Bit of a bummer . We where talking about you and skinny.

Can't see Kristoff tweeting anything, far to focussed.
Mike is more mejah, although he didn't take a smart phone to TD last year? (I might have made that up). -
• #184
Well, she was Port Sunlight or wore the kit, I'm not sure on the finer details I just recall speaking to Stu when he sent their well wishes on to me before the start. We had a chat and then I never saw any other riders again haha
-
• #185
No, you're right. Well, he tweeted a photo of antihistamines and a phone and said "one of these is going to make me race faster, one will stay at home" or words to that effect.

The spending never stops....

So it looks like Kristoff is about 25km away from Caiguna which I believe is the end point of the longest townless stretch(?)... So is probably going to nap there.
So Mike is about 100km behind him but it looks he had a 2ish hour sleep.
It looks like Frank is in Norseman resting up a bit before 360kmish next section to Caiguna. This section also includes the '90 mile stretch' which is Australia's longest straight road - sounds fun

I'm sure I have one of those already. Um, yes pretty sure one of my saddle mounts has it.
PRO maybe? or Profile Design?Ah, it's part of the mount not separate. It rung a bell because I swapped mine from double cage to single cage. But in this case you'd need the whole PRO mount.

90 Mile Straight

• #191
Ooof, what was it you guys call Allegaert during the TCR? More lizard than human? He's doing it again, no? He's nearly in South Australia!
-
• #192
Doesn't look like Mike is having too much fun from latest tweets. Although he seems to have made up some of the gap accumulated earlier today. Allegaert is just relentless. But the most outstanding right now is Sarah Hammond for sure.
-
• #193
Mike's keeping the pressure nicely on Kristof but anyway it's still very early and the spikey bits are yet to come
@frank9755 is at Balladonia with a long stretch before he sees anything again including the lovely 90 mile straight. Good luck!

And to give some other perspectives on the race:
Lockie Kavanagh, 18, is still active and coming into Coolgardie
Jack, 20, arrived into Norseman this evening
Leo Bridger (friend from school), 20, is still active and should arrive into Norseman this evening. He stopped for 12 hours for some reasonAnd at the other end of the spectrum:
Steve Watson, 70, arrived into Coolgardie this evening
Paul Ardill, 74, is still active and coming into into Coolgardie -

That made me chuckle.

Kristoff sleeping with Mike about to catch? Assume Mike will need to stop given the next street?
-
• #197
The tricky part about not watching dots full time is I have no idea of when and for how long these two have stopped. So, racers could be "neck and neck" but if one has just come up from a lovely sleep and the other has been running on fumes for days, it's not so close.
Need the old cyclingnews race ticker where someone would interpret and type out the race happenings in a chrono order
-
• #198
Yeh I think Kristoff has been resting several hours.mikes tracker shows just updated, while Kristoff hasn't updated for three hours.not sure if that means he hasn't moved or it's lost connection
-
• #199
Kristof seems to be back on the move after having what seems to have been a 3.5 hour nap.
Mike is only 18km behind although that does include a climb so he's about an hour behind.
Kristof probably has the edge sleep wise at the moment unless Mike's having the occasional powernap which it sort of looks like

Yeah, it's a shame this tracker does not give more detials.
Are any of the other riders regularly posting on any kind of social media? Would be nice to have a twitter list to look at or something.
