Yes. More stack = more distance vertically from the bottom bracket to the top of the headtube. More reach = more distance horizontally from the bottom bracket to the middle of the headtube. Don't think there's specifically a frame geometry thread, but there's an Internet Bike Fitting thread which covers much the same ground.

There is a topic explaining Stack and Reach a little;
a frame with more stack and less reach...
so this is higher and shorter? i.e. more upright, less racy? is that how it works?
