Am cobbling together an unofficial DIY based on the Steam Ghan ride with a few friends. They're a bit keener on starting in Oxford and heading back into London, which means that the pub stop at Quainton is coming way too early in the ride. Anyone got any suggestions for a decent cycle-friendly pub somewhere between Stoke Mandeville and Amersham? The pub at the Chiltern Brewery looks quite nice, but no idea if it's cycle-friendly. Ditto the Black Horse in Great Missenden.
