Some tracks force you to wear closed face if you have your roof down, but others don't. I think it's now an MSV requirement.

If you plan on having the roof down at any point then get a closed face helmet, closed face in a closed car isn't a big deal, but open face is a bit easier when receiving instruction.

I just picked a closed face because I've always worn closed face from motorcycling and go kart racing.

I bought Philips H4 Xtreme Vision bulbs and they were a big improvement over the standard bulbs.

I may try and blag it, the Landy needs some new door tops and I need to sort an oil leak before it gets sold. That's going to take me at least 6 months...
