He's a total sixties kid... Couple of beautiful old 60s Hagstroms, couple of Voxes, Selmer Zodiac, etc... Great 60s Pacific Northwest style guitar player, raunchy as you like... His band was called The Sires and he played in a few of the Toe Rag bands as well...
The mandolin is kind of a cross between a Mandocaster and a Vox Teardrop, it's beautiful... Single lipstick pickup, it wails! Pix when I get it back... 🙂

I've had a Eureka! moment, twelve string tailpiece!
My mate who built the mandolin has got a 12str Vox Phantom he's gonna try on it... Let's see how we go... I've had the thing for 20yrs but it's been unplayable for the last ten, gf dropped it and smashed the scratchplate...
