Clean!
I may have to do that. Darker colors look so much better on Brooklyns IMO.

Looks so tiny! If it fits you get some decals printed, fat tyres and bumble bee it with all black components, that's always a winning combo.

Aw man that was a nice bike.

• #4606
hows the V1?
you ever post photos? -
• #4607
Not yet. Still fiddling.
It's nice - do sort of miss the v2 tho. -
• #4608
Can you confirm or deny my thought that the v2's ride better. Ridden a few v1's and have always preferred mine... but then I would.
-
• #4609
Hmm. Not sure if better.
V2 more fun
V1 no toe overlapSo.. Owning both would be best.

toe overlap... pft I have foot overlap

It's definitely small but im pretty small. I'm 5'4. This other brooklyn that my friend lets me ride is about the same size (pic below); so the yellow should fit me.

I have to agree. v2 a lot nippier/flickable (lol), although the large V1 just fits me way better. like a big sofa

@NumeroUno where did your friend found his V3 ?
Nice whip by the way
-

Thanks!
I think he saw it on ebay but contacted the original owner.

@NumeroUno the one from your friend is M. Hernandez, right? :P
You should keep your "Launchpad" E1 yellow and black, it's pretty nice like that. IMO -
• #4622
Yep! Thats the one. Its a really nice build.
It has a weird number. Never seen two double digit numbers on any BMW before.
As for my bike, I may keep it the same yellow. Thank you. It is growing on me a little now that its built. This frame def feels like a v2.
Couple problems I ran into was getting the right spacing. This "Launchpad" has a 120mm rear spacing. I made the mistake of ordering a 130mm spacing without measuring it first. Doh!
The BB spindle had to be 115mm for chainstay clearance. I tried to put on a GXP BB and it didnt work out.

Looks good, your mate needs grips that must be fucking unpleasant to ride.
-
• #4624
Agreed.
I think he's going to cut down the bars from 700+ to 580 or so.

Naaaah don't do that, that's a loss of like 120 rad points.
I dont think anyone said it wasnt? Great observation though.
