I really like the idea of this. A movable unit that can be moved to a different location each year. Not sure we could squeeze 2 adults and 2 kids into one though, at least not in winter. With better sleeping arrangements and slightly older kids though it'd make for a good summer house

I like it, it's a bit more than a mima-house on which I've got a deposit but still no building permit to commence. They have, thankfully, extended my deposit period for another twelve months without any hassle.

I've been toying with the idea of converting a container to make a movable summer house, but this seems to fit the bill a bit better. 3.5m wide roads is necessary though, so I guess actually moving it will be more costly than a standard size container

Is that for a UK build? What's the ballpark cost for one of those?

Spain. Their website is good and has all the info, customer service so far has been excellent.

Such an architect-y house! I like it, love the spaces, but it really does need softening doesn't it? Feels like a cross between Hoxton Overground station and an empty art gallery.

I bet the neighbours are stoked.

Such an architect-y house!
Totally that. It's definitely interesting, I wonder if it's as gloomy looking inside as the pictures suggest or whether they've dialed down the levels in the photos - I could get it a lot more if it's great on the inside.
I don't like how it looks from a distance, those windows are a bit...

I've always had a thing for pre-war housing blocks. This is a fav of mine that I pass on the commute.

Amazing hall and looks great, is just going to be a waiting room or are they going to use it as community hall ? could really tell from the article. great project though.
Ha. I miss that place some days. Then I think of the massive damp patches they just painted over and I'm reminded of why we left.
Spoke to my old neighbours the other day. Their rented studio flat, though big, sold for 700k+. They're now in a period flat in the Barbican with lower rent.
