    Cool! I found the standard Babyshoes very tight at first, and they really need working into the well of the rim to give you the slack to get them on. Tubeless tape is worth a go even if you're running tubes - it's much thinner which helps with fitting. But after a bit of use they'll be soft enough to mount without levers :)

  • Thanks for the tip, I have stans tape already I think I just need to give it my attention without feeling knackered after a 14hr shift at work. Last thing at night usually isn't the best time to start messing around with bike parts.

    @Pish actually I'm using tubes as the bike is overseas for most of the year without me and my understanding is tubeless wheels need to be riden regularly so that negates any chance of tubeless. Hadn't considered whether Compass's can be riden tubeless or not.

    On that subject if anyone can advise whether tubeless need regular use or not I'd be interested to hear, or any advice on storing a bike with tubeless tyres
