9 speed is one of those groupset that's neither here nor there.

it doesn't have the longivity of an 8 speed groupset, and the modern 10 speed stuff is pretty tough to the point that the difference with 9 speed is miminal, plus range of gear is better on 10 speed.

Also the shift felt a little softer, compare to the like of Tiagra, 105 etc. it will still work great, but you may not enjoyed the feel compared to Tiagra.

If you haven't already order it, go for the 4700, replacing a 10 speed chain nowadays is pretty cheap enough to warrant this.

Seriously tho, go for the Tiagra, it will feel like 105 without the 1 extra cog, and slightly less heavy too, Sora is at least over 2600g for the groupset.

Even Veloce groupset is reasonably priced, if you liked the shape of the hood that is.

Talking to a bag manufacturer, he can make the ideal bag (padded, light and the right dimensions) but cant do wheels .. maybe some kinda collapsible trolley or something. He said he can make a 'pocket' at the back for the trolley arms.
