Hi, could anyone please help us identify this track bike, Was imported from Italy with a Daccordi road bike 50/60's. one owner, and was raced on track and velodrome. Chrome is original, we are trying to find receipts and make of bike but any help appreciated, memories are fading. Brakes were thrown on a few years ago when it was used for round town
Regards

Can anyone verify that this frame is indeed 531? I have the same bike that I got from a junk shop and I'm doubtful that it's 531.

Got this on ebay yesterday and curious about it. The bike is branded "Boyer" and maybe "Cournon" on the seat tube/headtube wich makes sense since googlings leads to a bikestore/chain of bike stores in france.. Any ideas on the frame make?
Sorry about the pic size. can't figure out to get them to upload properly..

Hi can anyone help me identify this frame it is 22” seat tube centre to top and top tube centre to centre, close clearance those are 700 x 25c, very light and step angles so it was a road or time trial racing frame. Unusually seat binder bolt, diamond braze on bottle cage mounts and brake bridge. It takes a 27.2mm seat pin and it came from Lincolnshire. The frame number is 8728 in one direction and then 1C in the other
I had it at the Manchester Jumble a couple of years ago and Hilary did not know want it was.

The ghost head badge looks to be Holdsworth:
I can't find any models with that type of fastback seatstay seatpost lug though....

• #5213
Thank you for that much appreciated

I'm not so sure that it is a Holdsworth though! Lugs look very Ken Bird....

I've not seen those track ends before: quite elegant, but somehow they don't sit right with the frame...
Almost certainly resprayed, so whilst it likely is 531 the decals may not accurately reflect the age of the frame.

Yeah I feel like the 531 decals are bit to old.. but i'm intrigued by the S on the frame..
I thought it might have been resprayed too but it appears to have like a subtle golden colour near the bb and fork crown, but cant tell if that's just yellowing/lighting/ or the paint job..

looked at a few more and they do look similar, but i would be able to see the writing surely, so not sure.. Anybody know anything about the decal?
it's off eBay now... I was wondering what interest it would conjure. Still, there's nothing wrong with it being on Ebay.
