No need to pedal on your way home...

Outside Kings College hospital this morning a car decides to do a U-Turn out of the static traffic right in front of an ambulance which had full lights and sirens!
If they didn't notice that what would they see!?

Here we go again off topic with the "anti-fascists are just as bad as fascists" rhetoric.
Quick reminder:
People who fascists hate and actively wish to remove from society by any means necessary:
- Black people, asians, middle easterners, anyone of an ethnic group who isn't white basically.
- A lot of people from ethnic groups that are white. Eastern europeans, mediteranians, south and central americans, Irish, Italians, gypsies, whatever is not white enough that year etc.
- Jewish people.
- Muslims.
- Often actually anyone who isn't Christian.
- Homosexual and basically anyone not 100% straight.
- Transgender and non binary people.
- Non-submissive women.
- People who don't have fascist political views.
- People who DO have fascist political views but don't 100% align with theirs.
- The homeless.
- The mentally ill.
- The disabled.
- Artists, Musicians who express themselves in ways not for the benefit of fascism or are deemed 'degenerate'.
- And many, many more.
People who anti-fascists hate and actively wish to remove from society by any means necessary:
- Fascists.
Happy to help.
- Black people, asians, middle easterners, anyone of an ethnic group who isn't white basically.

^ all day long.
imagine being so privileged that you think fascism deserves an equal platform because failure to do so offends your liberal sensitivities.
-
• #16706
LOL.
Imagine thinking that dressing up in black facemasks and talking about killing people with bricks is not the best way to get your entirely valid point across.
-
• #16707
'Fascism is bad' isn't a point that needs to be gotten across.
-
• #16708
Why are they out there trying to get that point across then?
-
• #16709
Idiot bus driver pulling in on me causing reprisal but otherwise fast commute in.
15min earlier alarm ftw
-
• #16710
i don't think the people doing this give a flying fuck what you think. and they'd be right. if you seriously think 'being fucking angry at fascists' is an 'entirely valid view point', you're probably beyond help.
-
• #16711
You think it isn't a valid viewpoint then?
-
• #16712
the implication is that it requires validation beyond what is starkly apparent. it doesn't.
enough now.
-
• #16713
You are so easy to troll.
-
• #16714
suit yourself, champ. so long as no one thinks this has owt to do with your repeated failure to understand how your false equivalancies(sp?) effectively serves to normalise fascism.

• #16715
The point they were getting across was that the gallery was enabling fascism.
Try to pay attention.
-
• #16716
The general feeling of distaste I get from seeing you swearing and attempting to bully anyone on the board who doesn't agree with your precise views is pretty similar to what I feel when I see anyone threatening to kill anyone with a mask on.
-
• #16717
How can someone be both trolling someone and be a victim of them?
-
• #16718
lol. i thought you were trolling me a moment ago. do you need a cuddle?
-
• #16719
Oh, I didn't say I was a victim. Just that it's thoroughly unpleasant. Problem with violence is that if you happened to make a mistake, it's quite hard to take back. Same argument with the death penalty.
But, hey ho, you don't care because you're convinced that you're always right. And so you'll probably go on being obnoxious to anyone who disagrees.
-
• #16720
you're always right.
you knows it.
hang on - are you still trolling me? this is all very confusing.
-
• #16721
I'll spell it out.
One good reason for opposing the death penalty is miscarriages of justice. Pardoning a hanged man doesn't bring him back.
A similarly good reason for opposing political violence is that mistakes can be made and innocent people caught up in it. That's generally not a good thing.
You make the argument that it doesn't count with fascists. But that requires you to be absolutely sure that you're targeting the right people. I think better to err on the side of caution. You say - 'no, I know I'm right, so I will shout you down'.
Which is how you approach pretty much every debate on this board. It makes everything you touch turn into a pretty unpleasant slanging match, and it's bloody annoying.
-
• #16722
fine. then make sure before you smash a fascist in the chops. pro-tip they're usually the ones shouting fascist things. or should we wait until they start rounding people up before we get swinging?
-
• #16723
The news story seems to involve them shouting down a guy saying liberal things rather than fascist things, but hey ho. You just keep on your high horse there.
-
• #16724
you've been called out and you don't like it. perfectly understandable.
let us know when the cognitive dissonance wears off, you'll feel much better, promise.
right! i'm off to catch a train.
-
• #16725
right! i'm off to catch a train.
Wait, does that qualify this 2-page interchange as a commuting story?
The wind is dropping this evening, but also moving from a westerly to a southerly, so what was a gusty sidewind this morning will become a headwind for my ride home. Good training I guess.
