You sure? I thought I'd used tracks before that did turn by turn on the etrex? It's been so long I've probably forgotten how I set it up. Maybe I converted a track to a route first.
Might be confusing it with my old HCx which could do a TracBack...

Depends if you want turn arrows or not. You get them with routes, with tracks you do not. I generally use tracks and the compass pointer screen. Which should always point in the direction you should be travelling in.
