If the UCI had the bottle to back up its rules the front three from yesterday would be disqualified apparently.

I've seen the chasing group complaining to the motos but I couldn't understand why... now I get it!

They were told before the race if they were spotted or pictured riding on pavements/cycle paths next to the pave they would be DQed. They did anyway and weren't. Cycling must be one of the worst sports for having rules that are just consistently and blatantly ignored and then not enforced.
