Enter your text here...I'm sorry but I'm not very internet 'friendly' & I have no Camera! My 1st meeting with Barry Chick was in the late 70s when we both rode the Barnet CC 10 on the A1000. I have many 'Chick' bicycles/frames.

I'd love to find out more about the provenance of my frame (bought on here). Chances of asking Barry about it?

My other half got this back in the 80's. Her dad got it from Alan Shorter .
Sorry can't seem to get more than one pic up.
Before I have it restored, would love to know more, tubing etc. Any clues?
I recently got a low pro shorter identical paint scheme with 531 professional tubing but no maker sticker -

Hello my name is Antony adams i used to own a barry chick most amazing super fast machine that i have ever owned and i have had a lot over the years 2 hottas zx1 carbon cannondale titanium .
I used to get up to 50 mph down bishops hill in ipswich ,regrettably it had a crack on the downtube directly behind headtube normal place if thin tubing,
i was an idiot and never got it repaired as i did not realise how much of a cult important the bike was , Bare frame weight was 3lbs 6oz very light to this day i have no idea what the tubing was other than it was columbus so it could not be reynolds 753 possible columbus record or very rare ishiwata tubing

Hey, I'm not entirely sure, it may have been 531 but I've got a feeling it was some Columbus tubing, was a great bike, gutted with how it turned out and that I got rid of it in the manner that I did 😔

Looks to be the right font for a Shorter but may not mean it's a Barry Chick bike, might be worth getting in contact with Shorter-Rochford and seeing if they know anything based off of the serial number?

It’s not got a serial number just the name Evans
It weighs bugger all
I have a Chick Frame & a complete Chick bike. The 1st is a frame made by Barry for the Trusty Viscount team & the 2nd is a Time Trial Bike made by Shorters
