  • Thanks that's what I'd figured out - retail PC GTA V doesn't come with a Steam key. So I'll do that. Does that mean I'll be able to use it with a Steam link or not? I wouldn't have paid twice as much to buy it from Steam anyway though.

    Also - I'm going to need a bigger hard drive. If I put this on a traditional HDD will it be slow? The SSD my Windows sits on isn't big enough...

  • You can play using Steam link even if it's not a Steam game.

    It'll be slower on a normal HDD. Loading times for new areas or missions mostly, the actual gameplay probably no different.
