  • I used to have one of those. Worked 99% of the time but very occasionally would still eject the Garmin after going over a pothole or something so worth having a lanyard clipped around the garmin and the frame.

  • I have a non-Garmin one apparently and these are almost the same but just different enough to be fucking useless at holding the units whereas guys on YACF were saying they have to tape over the rubber knob just to make it possible to remove the unit. That's the kind of Garmin retention I want.

    I'm still undecided if I should take it. But I like the option of an AA-powered Garmin if I lose my ability to charge my Edge and mobile phone.
