There's two schools of thought on flying with a bike;
Even if the handlers treat it well, bikes merely wrapped up in cling film can still fall from the loading conveyor belt from a great height = dead bike. I'm sticking with hard case in all situations I can work with it.
But it's microwave friendly .. srsly @Thuekr u mad!
I agree. I've done both and, if I ever get the chance to have a cycling holiday ever again, I'd go hard case everytime.
