Does no-one do the thing where you push the head of the pump against a wall/tree so it can't move? Allows for vigorous pumping.
Tree? You must live in countryside .. this is metropolitan elite only thread. Diesel fumes, flat whites, regents laps, remain voters only.
I just used the ground, but it's still useful for topping up the tyres on a longer tour where you don't want to remove the wheel every time.
I just put the but of my hand at behind the rim/ valve, as ive had both valves snap off on me before.
