I'm pretty sure, considering I'm studying to become one myself, that somewhere there's a product design engineer at Jtek, who'd like to get paid. Considering Jtek is a smaller company with what I suppose is smaller production runs than say Sturmey Archer, that accounts for the price difference.
The same applies to the difference with Paul Components - and they're made by hand. -
