A quadruple would be better.
Can easily make you one actually.

I heartily agree. Unfortunately for some, life dictates the necessity of being submersed in this middle class pashmina and corduroy reserve : /

Still better than London tho, innit.

I'll stick with 1x and doubles for now thanks.

Extremely North Islington

Indeed. I used to do the commute 5 times a week. Negotiated my boss to 2 days, which is far more palatable.
I will say there is some good cycling to be had on the east coast though!

Yeah-I'm surprised how many people can be bothered with the faff and expense of commuting back and forth on ScotFail.
Some nice rolling roads along the coast to be sure but compared to North of Glasgow? Being able to get 1500m climbing on a fairly quick ride doesn't seem possible on the East coast so it's got nothing on a Tak/Crow double and ripping round the Carron Valley in my book!
I have to admit I've not explored much north of the bridge yet-I imagine that Fife's got a few more lumps to offer.

If Brexit happens and May decides to chuck all the forrins out i'd happily trade our burgeoning population of imported Quentin and Harriets for a goodly section of the Turkish, Jamaican, Lebanese, Indian and Portuguese communities in London if only to satisfy my culinary lusts-by far the best thing about my time there was eating fucking amazing food from all over the world. Quentin and Harriet just bring organic soup stalls, social inequality, a complete inability to regulate the volume of their voices and branches of Pret.

S+S placement is pretty standard, non?
There's been some pretty interesting alternatives on R*dav*st recently, as you're probably aware. Having had S+S once, I probably wouldn't bother again-unless its a dedicated travel bike every other time you're using it it just feels like a compromise or a redundant accessory. Like those things for getting stones out of horses hooves on pocket knives. Who the fuck ever uses them?

They look like the stock calipers I took off the Shiv minus the bolt caps. I sold them already, soz.

I'm seriously thinking about getting the new DA road discs and levers for the Kinesis.

I already feel done over

Yet? I thought you were so fat you could distort space and time.
So much disappoint

I thought I used enough Shimano they'd be sending it to me for product testing.

All other stuff is there even the mechs but you will have to wait for hydro shifters and calipers.

Dont be.
The frame has been ordered.
And these:

https://www.paragonmachineworks.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=BK2015Looking into S&S but I think they sell it direct to framebuilders so will have to wait.
Mods on frame will be:
S&S
Brake braze ons (obv)
Rear brake cable stop with adjuster
STI gear cable stop with adjusters because I hate the look of those adapters
Braze on FD mountFront cable stop most likely integrated in headset .. either FSA or Ritchey. Jagwire straddle cable carrier.
Ritchey finishing kit if they do a decent black inline seatpost, otherwise Thomson post and stem with neo classic bars.
Most likely going to get these wheels: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/cosine-24mm-alloy-clincher-road-wheelset/
Tyres with mudguards possibly Schwalbe One 28mm and without 33mm Strada Bianca Race.
And Sora R3000 groupset.
Need to decide on graphics if any. Now it can't (shouldnt?) have the framebuilders name ..

This thread is for pure lols, this bike (and my travel plans) were in pipeline with the exact spec down to straddle cable carriers for last year or so.
That weigh being a massive bargain and exact on point with spec and geo (!!) is just a co-incidence saving me quite a bit of dollar. I was going to get the Pacer and do it but they are too long and low for me plus overpriced for generic/heavy chromoly. The most spendy fall back was full custom which I didn't need geo-wise all these mods are easy to get done and relatively cheaper.
Pinterest is boring and don't think @Señor_Bear has an account there.
Come on man, keep up. Next big thing is a triple front.
