The internet has no definite answer if X-ACTUATION = exact actuation.
But to be safe it would be best to assume MTB and Road 1x11 do not mix?

Yes - the SRAM 11 speed off road stuff does not work with the Road stuff.

But that doesn't matter as they make rival and apex equivalents. You don't need to mix and match the road & MTB stuff for a workable 1X11 setup.

Thing is, I want a 110bcd crank for larger rings, but also trigger shifters for a riser setup. Will just get a Apex/Rival Crank and an NX/GX RD.
If I ever switch to a dropbar setup, which would also require other forks, stem and whatnot, will just get a road RD.
