yeah I used to play bushido blade on the ps2, and loved the whole samurai thing, might get this. But my frustration levels are low, so not sure if the gameplay will mess with me. I'll probably be like @dt and await second hand copies to become available..

I preordered mine on the first day but only because the wife is buying me it as a birthday gift.

If I had to spend my own money, I'm not sure I'd be as keen...

I got my mate to pre-order for me at his shop, hoping to get staff discount... *crosses fingers*

And it's my birthday on the 8th, daft not to...

Looking forward to playing Zelda but that's about it. Seems like a lot of £££ just to play a single game.

It's still coming out for the Wii U anyway, or it was the last time I checked...

I think it's a pretty reasonably priced platform, my gripe is that there are never enough in-house games released... I only have six or seven Wii U games that I actually play, bit shit really... I'm old school (or just old, in before everyone else) tho', get bored to tears by most modern 'games'...

So long as it were a launch title you could probably buy it, play it and sell it in a tight enough timeframe to turn a profit if the console sells out as per wii.

I had a Wii U as well and found that, apart from Mario Kart, nothing really got played more than once or twice so it languished in a box for a year after we moved house before i eventually sold it.

I'm hoping with the Switch that the portability will mean i play it more. Being able to take on a train / plane gives it a major edge over my massive gaming pc for obvs reasons.

I'm still really looking forward to getting mine in a little under two weeks. I just hope Zelda lives up to the hype.
